Write a Lebanese phone number; we'll convert it into text.
Memorize Numbers is a fun project that aims to turn phone numbers from meaningless digits to sentences that can be more easily memorized.
The phone number is divided into three parts.
In Lebanon, the first two digits can only be 01, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 70, 71, 76, 78, 79, 08, 81, 09. The first two numbers must be one of these 14 for the website to work.
Each of these numbers can be represented by four different words. One of the four words is chosen based on the remainder of the three digits that follow when divided by four. This process makes it so that the 1,000 middle three digits can be represented by 250 verbs, rather than 1,000.
For example, "03 000" outputs "Neighbors eat", while "03 001" outputs "Families eat".
The last 1,000 possible three-digit numbers have a list of 1,000 nouns or adverbs mapped to them.
